Geary County Transfer Station

The Geary County Transfer Station is a county-owned facility that provides municipal solid waste removal. Current operations contract is with Hamm Quarry, Inc out of Perry, KS who transports waste daily from this facility. All loads will be weighed to assess appropriate dumping fees.

Fees & Payments

Current dumping fees are $19.00 up to 500 pounds or $76.00 per ton. Payments are accepted by exact cash, check, credit/debit card, or pre-approved charge account. Submitting payments online, can be found here.

The cost for commercial tree trimming companies for the disposal of trees and brush will remain the same at $15.00 per ton. One ton minimum.
